we are asking from the our software company for renewal as well as instalation and maintanence of the software for one year. Is there any applicability of TDS ?

Yes, it attacts TDS under FTSS @10%.

This is a usage-based payment made by one party (the "licensee") to another (the "licensor") which is called royalty and accordingly TDS as per section 194J attracts.
