IS A FIRM LIABLE TO DEDUCT TAX AT SOURCE IF IT PAYS RENT TO ONE OF ITS PARTNERS' WHO LETS HIS PROPERTY TO THE FIRM?

Yes.TDS is applicable and deductable under section 194I if payment in financial year exceeds Rs.180000
