TDS on Purchase of Gift Vouchers

Hi, Can you please let me know whether TDS to be deducted on purchase of Sodexho Gift Vouchers. We are getting the invoice with Service charges & Service Tax also. We will purchase this on need basis not on monthly basis.

Yes, purchase of Sodexo copouns is attract TDS under sec.194C, Since it is order for your specific requirment is that denominations and value, it is the nature of contract even purchase need basis, so deduct TDS u/s.194C
