Tds on membership fees

If a party includes services tax on membership fees, is tds applicable for that exp or not....

There is no correlation between service tax and tds , before ascertaining whether tds applicable or not one has to check what kind of membership fee is it

TDS should be deducted u/s 194J if amount exceeds 30000/-

194J will apply if the payment is against professional and technical services, if such association is providing such kind of help then 194j apply
