Sir,
At present my company giving rs-5000/- p.m. as a maintenance charges to his land lord. So what is the TDS rate and ceiling limit for maintenance charge, if it is crossed rs- 5000/- in future.
What will be the amount of maintenance charge annually, for that tds need to be deducted ?

it is a part of the rent taken by the landlord hence TDS would be deducted under section 194I @10%.
the limit for rent is Rs.1,80,000/- p.a
