Tds on immovable property

16 June 2014 Dear Experts

One assessee paid lumpsum amount (95 lakhs) to seller of immovable property from his own account and also deposit the amount of TDS on it on his own pan number.

However registry of land was done in name of his spouse,

kindly suggest that validity of transaction.

16 June 2014 then tds should have been deducted by the owner on paper.

17 June 2014 if seller received the amount then no problem.
