Tds form 16 issue

09 December 2011 we have a employee whose annual salary 1,30,000/-, he want form 16 from our company.
can we are issue him form 16 as per requirement. he have no other income.

09 December 2011 As per Recent Amendment Form 16 is to be issue only after downloading from NSDL but if you want you can issue as there is no any tax credit, although it is better to issue certifying that This Employee working with us and earned this much in this financial year.

09 December 2011 what you suggest me for this case,
issue form 16 or issue a certified salary statement where mention is total salary.

10 December 2011 Better to Issue Salary Certificate mentioning your TAN Number if you having it will assist your employee to file his Income Tax Return.
