Tds demand

I have a TDs demand of rs 700000 approx of financial year 2007-08 due to short deduction & short payment . it is because of wrong posting of pan number. online system does not exist in 2007-08,therefore please suggest the process of rectify the demand.ward of company is civic centre.

Approach your jurisdictional ITO TDS with all required documents, he will correct the challan and close the demand.
