sir,
we have deposit tds profession 194j month of august'2010.for assessment year of 2011-12. but it has deposit assessment yeat 2009-10. can its effect in a.y. 2011-12. pls say me.

Write to your AO. Only he will be able to rectify the error & give you the due credit.

Write a letter to your TDS assessing officer requesting him for correction in challan data along with a copy of the challan.
