04 January 2012 i want to know how to calculate no of months of Tds late payment???i have deducted tds on on 2/april/2011 and made payment on 8 december.. how so many months interest will be charged??

04 January 2012 In the Given case interest will be charged for 9 months.

2 April to 2 Dec---8 months
+ 1 month for upto 8th Dec.

05 January 2012 we have to calculate date to date??its not like till 7th may no interest is charged and after that one month interest charged??
