i want to know how to calculate no of months of Tds late payment???i have deducted tds on on 2/april/2011 and made payment on 8 december.. how so many months interest will be charged??

In the Given case interest will be charged for 9 months.
2 April to 2 Dec---8 months
+ 1 month for upto 8th Dec.

we have to calculate date to date??its not like till 7th may no interest is charged and after that one month interest charged??
