19 May 2010 Whether any sum paid to Indian council of agricultural research is subject to TDS or not?,
The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) is an autonomous organisation under the Department of Agricultural Research and Education, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India.

20 May 2010 If any payment is made to Government Organization, the TDS is nor required to be deducted at the time of making payment to such entity.

Here ICAR is the Dept of Govt of India, Hence TDS is not required to be deducted.
