if the firm claims repairs as expense which is amounting to Rs.138000 (a single bill) whether the firm has to deduct tds on it????

If Repair & Maintenance contract is with material then it will come under 94C or its technical service it has to deduct u/s 94J.

194C For Normal Repairs , IF Technical such as AMC 194J Depending on Circumstance TDS to be deducted.
