16 January 2014 There are many Assessee who are legally liable for income Tax but they are evading the tax by not showing the correct income or showing the income which does not exceeding the exemption limit, so, to overcome such situation, Govt has implemented the TDS provisions in India. TDS provisions are applicable in various countries by having a different name in their country.
