31 August 2013 dear professionals if bank deducts tds @ 20% on FDR (primarily due to non quoting of pan by the assessee to his banker) so can - 1. assesse claim TDs deducted in his it 2. wat about form 16 a will he get or not? 3.how can he claim that TDs.

01 September 2013 1)Not possible to claim because you cannot get credit to your 26AS

2)he will get form 16A but your pan wil not appear on it,,which is not at all helps to you

3)if bank file revised tds return on theirs including your pan number,,you can get form 16a under your pan number,,and credit comes to 26as,,then only you can claim tds

02 September 2013 ans1. cannot claim tds as there is no valid pan avaliable.

ans2.will get form 16A without pan number.

ans3.he cannot claim unless obtains new valid pan and submits to bank and bank revises the tds return.
