Pls, tell me whether the new scheme of TDS i.e. to pay TDS online has become mandatory or not and whether we are required to file quarterly returns or only 1 annual return.

Proposed form 17 has been deferred but payment of online TDS and other taxes have became mandatory in audit cases.
