I downloaded Consolidated file or .tds file from TRACES regarding for Revised of tds Return (other than salaries). The file format is winzip then i open to try that file , the file require password.. what is the password of Consolidated file or .tds file ?

TAN NO_request number of consolidated fvu file. This means if your TAN is AMRA11492E and request number generated on tdscpc to download the file is 84365 then password to open the file is: AMRA11492E_84365. Hope this clarifies.

WHEN USING THAT PASSWORD I OPEN THAT FILE THEN UPLOAD TO TAXMAN TDS SOFTWRE, ONE ERROR IS ARISE THE "FILE FORMATE IS WRONG" . WHAT I AM DOING FOR REVISED TDS RETURN IN TAXMAN SOFTWARE ?
