CHARGING SECTION OF IT ACT AND TDS ON INTEREST PORTION OF NRI DEPOSITS FOR THE PERIOD OF CHANGE OF STATUS OF AN NRI TO RESIDENT TILL THE MATURITY DATE OF NRI DEPOSITS.

when a non resident become resident whether interest on fcnr deposits is subjected to TDS for the remaining period (period of stay in india)? and which section of income tax act deals with it?
