what is the difference between tax invoice and retail invoice?

both are same,
TAX invoice is the sales voucher, and on the strength of which the buyer is eligible to get input credit of vat paid.
Retail invoice is used by VAT dealers of composition scheme where vat is not mentioned seperately, and buyer can not avail input credit of vat paid (deemed to be paid) on purchase.
