I am a orthopadically handicape person an employee in a company please, what are the Income tax benefits allow for us.

Dear Aejaz Bhai
As per Sec. 80U of IT Act. u can claim the fixed deduction of Rs.50000/- or if ur disability is of severe nature then Rs.75000/- (u may refer the list of severe disease in said section)
note the deduction is fixed irrespective of expenditure incurred by u
you have to take Certificate from Orthopaedics.

The certificate should be obtained from medical authority in the prescribed From no 10 IA of the Income tax rules,1962. For more details reference is invited to rule 11A of the said rules.
