date of filling tax audit report has extended but while filling income tax return before 30/09/14 what date should be given in return

unfortunately, that is not the option as it is compulsory to provide the date of audit report and date of furnishing the same to tax department!

Agree with Nikhil Ji. Without furnishing Tax Audit report it will be defective return u/s 139(9).
But one of my friend who is a Practicing Chartered Accountant told me that he had uploaded a Income Tax Return without mentioning the Tax Audit Report date. He also stated that earlier the return would not validate without the the date but in the recent ITR the return was validated without the date.
Such is the decision of CBDT to extend only Tax Audit report, it is creating plenty of confusion.

well it was not validating today atleast. So dont know how it is being validated otherwise.
