Dear Sir,
Mere friend ke father abhi retired hue hai hain unohne apne bete ko Rs.3Lac ka check diya hai, Agar mera friend us check ko apne saving account main deposite karta hai to koi problem to nahi ayegi ya fir tax to nahi dena parega?

father can give gift to son, so gift is not taxable in the hand of son.
