Tally consolidation

18 September 2009 I have a co. A/c in Tally (9 or 7.2) for 1-4-2006 to 4-3-2009 and another records for the same co. from 5-3-2009 till date. How can i consolidate both of them as the two are the same companies but different accounts have been maintained

18 September 2009 Open a group company and list the two company as members.

18 September 2009 Create a new company in seperate folder.

First expor the old data and import in the seperate folder.

Next export from the new data and import in the same seperate folder.

Automatically both the data will get consolidated.
