21 September 2015 Dear Sir,

we have final manufacturing product plant in Bangalore ( all sales to customers will be done in BLR) and we get our semi finished products from our another unit Coimbatore through stock transfer.

Currently Coimbatore is paying Excise duty for each stock transfer.

My question is whether we can get the Semi finished product from Coimbatore unit through Job work, if so what is the procedure.

21 September 2015 You can transfer the semifinished goods on invoice after payment of duty or you can send the goods on jobwork challan.

22 September 2015 My question is whether we can get Excise duty exemption against getting semi finished products from our coimbatore Manufacturing Branch to Bangalore. at present Coimbatore branch is paying excise duty for all stock transfer happening from Coimbatore to Bangalore .
