I got a demand letter from ITD of TDS for AY 2008-09. When i checked status of it on TIN-NSDL site then it shown as 'match pending' it means corresponding challan details not received from bank. Tell me what to do?

GO WITH DEPARTMENT WITH LETTER , TAKE WITH HIM THE DIFFERENCE DETAILS. PREPARE THE RECONCILIATION FROM YOUR BOOKS ATTACHED WITH CHALLAN COPY AND SUBMIT YOUR REPLY TO DEPARTMENT.
