09 March 2018 What should be AMOUNT of STAMP PAPER if a person is GIFTING MONEY via cheque/RTGS to his relative.Both parties belong to Delhi.

09 March 2018 Mr. Nikhil Kaushik, the above link talks about the property registration. My case is of GIFT DEED for MONEY via Cheque/RTGS. It would be great if you could please tell me the amount of stamp paper.

My mistake. so kindly ignore the earlier message. For movable property (including cash), a simple 100 rupee stamp paper will suffice.

I have drafted gift deed with ₹10 stamp paper. Would it work ? If not then, What shall be the consequences ?

09 March 2018 there are no consequence. I personally prefer atleast Rs 100 stamp paper.
