Stamp of ca on original income tax return

27 October 2013 i have observed many CA put stamp on original income tax return of Assessee. According to my knowledge CA has to certify copies and not original one... Can you tell me whether this practise of putting stamp on original Income tax return is correct? do Banks accept copies of CA stamped Original returns? Don't they demand for original stamp on copies of Income Tax return?

28 October 2013 Not correct. Even true copy attestation of IT acknowledgement is also wrong
because CA is not empowered to do so.
