04 January 2016 Dear experts,
We are authorized service centre of samsung to repait it's branded product, query. 1) on repair of under warranty product, samsung company will give us the service charge, in this case weather am i eligible for 10 lacs exemption or not.2) we are also repairing branded product for which we will take service charge directely from customer in this case are we eligible for 10 exemption or not.....

04 January 2016 1 on repair of warranty product to Samsung company you are eligible for 10 lacs exemption.
2 In case of repair of branded product you are not eligible for 10 lacs exemption.

04 January 2016 sir we are repairing branded company's product like LG, Samsung, Havells, assume i have repaird these companies product LED, Washing machine etc. and taken service charge from customer in this case am i eligible for ssi exemption or not....

04 January 2016 If you are repairing branded company products in your individual capacity not as authorized service provider then SSI exemption is available.

04 January 2016 sir, we are authorized by company to repair it's product let's take an example to understand the query batter assume. you have out of warranty LG company LED and i have repaired your LED and you have paid me service charge in this case can i get 10 lacs exemption or not

04 January 2016 In the above case 10 lacs exemption not available to you as you are authorized by company.

04 January 2016 sir but my ca has suggest that you can avail ssi exemption on repair of branded product which is out of warranty inspite being authorized because on out of warranty product we will charge directely from customer instead of company also on out of warranty product company is not in any course neither from referance nor from payment... plzzz clarify.....

04 January 2016 If you are an authorized repairer under brand name you can't avail SSI exemption ask your CA to see Notification 33/2012 ST.

05 January 2016 sir, u have one more query plz clarify.. as i am authorized by only samsung, assume at the same premises i have also repaired LG product plzz clarify on issuance of invoice to LG product's owner can i avail 10 lacs exemption or not.. however on issuance of invoice to samsung owner we are entitled not to avail 10 lacs exemption.. and the repair premises is same, service centre name as well as ST No. is also same...

05 January 2016 Yes you can avail SSI exemption for providing un branded services use separate invoice.

05 January 2016 sir LG product is also branded.. but our service centre is authorized by only samsung not by LG. however we have repaired the LG product in the same premises and invoice is consist the same address same service centre name which is authorized by samsung not by LG, plzz clarify while issuing the invoice to LG product owner can we avail ssi exemption or not..

05 January 2016 If you are not providing service under LG brand name then SSI exemption is available on this service.

05 January 2016 Yes provided use separate invoice and don't use the name of LG.
