06 December 2011 Mr. "A" is in India and his son is in USA doing ERP/SAP Softwares. Some modules of the ERP/SAP provides by Mr. "A" and also provideing supporting modules. Now what type of registration require in India under various Laws. So that remmittence received in India will not prohibited by FEMA, I.T. Act., Service tax. etc. Whether IEC Code reg. and any other reg. necessary for doing this type of business in India ? Kindly prove section wise details.
Is there any tax benefit ?

06 December 2011 firstly apply for Pan card in the name of concerned company, then apply for IEC code through concerned RLA.

for taking the various types incentive Get RCMC certificate of concerned export promotion council.

as per para 2.8(iii)of foreign trade policy 2009-2014, exporter importer are exempt from IEC code if they are importing / exporting for personal use/ agriculture purpose.
