hi... on or before 01.04.2011 service tax ternover consider on receipt basis i.e any amount of service tax billed issued is irrelavant, but mainly how much u have received in that financial year that consider as t/o...therefore ur t/o above 10 lacs is irrelavant in a.y. 2011-12...if ur receipt does not exceed 10 lacs than u can availed benefit of exemption in a.y 2012-13 also... but w.e.f. 01.04.2011 service tax payable on accrued basis i.e receipt is irrelavant from that days....that's also consider in ur case
