Kindly let me know, whether shares of a company can be transferred at any price or there is any norms for share valuation.share will be transferred form an Indian Company to an PRI.

we need to talk in terms of listed company versus non listed company. In either case, the excess value, if any, above the listed price or fair market price can always be looked upon suspiciously by the REVENUE authorities. In financial and commercial world, this is not permitted unless you have some hope of concrete future benefits
If FDI is involved then valuation will be made as per discounting cash flow method.

Sir,
No FDI is involved, in my case there are two Companies .one is Holding and other is Subsidiary. Now subsidiary Company does not want to have status of Subsi Co.and shares have to transfer. So at what value shares can be transferred.
