Sfis scheme & sez

27 September 2012 I would like to know which scheme is benefial to us SFIS or SEZ. We are presently in SEZ & not availing any benefit except Import & Indigenous Goods procure from DTA. Our one unit is opt out from SEZ. Can u give comparision which scheme is benefical to us.

All Indian Service Providers, of services listed in Appendix 10 of HBPv1, who have free foreign exchange earning of at least Rs.10 Lakhs in preceding financial year / current financial year shall qualify for Duty Credit Scrip.For Individual Indian Service Providers, minimum free foreign exchange earnings would be Rs Lakhs.

Service Providers of services listed in Appendix 41 of HBPv1 would alone be eligible. Such eligible Service Providers will be entitled to Duty Credit Scrip equivalent to 10% of free foreign exchange earned during current financial year.”
