I want to start my Own advertising agency..
for that i need to apply for the ST Number in FORM No ST 1

There are some clauses in the form which i didn't get...Please help me on the same.

1. what should be the name of applicant ( Name of Firm or Person?)

2. What will be the Catagory of Registarnt?

Please help me on urgent....

02 October 2010 1. If status is individual,application should be in individual name because registration number is PAN based.
2. Category is "advertisement agency's services".

1. i want my firm name "XYZ".. so if i applying in individual's name then "XYZ" will not appear in the ST Registration certificate
am i Ok?

2. Catagory of Registrant Clause (4) of ST1
whether it will be Person liable to pat ST or Other Persons?
