Is service tax is liable for the membership fee of clubs or association. Is there is any need of TDS deduction in such case. please help

13 February 2016 Membership fees is levied by a club or association on its members for their enjoying certain facilities / privileges as Member. Membership of Club Services is one of the category of taxable services. Hence service tax is leviable on membership fees.
