Service tax on freight

We have a transporter who provides us trucks thru truck union on hire and gives us his GR (Bilty). On his bilty he writes the total freight and ticks the option: Service Tax : To be paid by Consignor.
What implication does it have and do we have to pay the STax.

the transportation services are covered under reverse charge mechanism. So you have to pay service tax to government
