Service tax on detantion charge in case of gta

Kindly suggest me whether detantion charge paid to transporter is liable to service tax.... whether seperate billty should be ask for dat....if no then how i will avail the credit for the same.

31 October 2012 Regarding credit there is no issue. You can avail the Credit of service tax, even if you are not required to pay the same as per law.
