I am working for a glass processing industry, where we have our own transportation and also use other transporters for transportation of finished glass to our clients. I need to know the service tax liability for the category gta.

Service tax is applicable on transport facility availed from transport agency. so ST will not be applicable on your own transport. Tax is payable by either you orconsignee ( if they are coming under notified catagory)
