IS IT SUBCONTRACTOR IS LIABLE TO SERVICE TAX FOR THE WORK WHICH IS UNDER SERVICE TAX EXEMPTION ?
I.E WORK OF PIPE LINE FOR WATER OF GWSSB (GUJARAT WATER SUPPLY & SEWAGE BOARD) ALLOTED TO MAIN CONTRACTOR IS EXEMPTED FROM SERVICE TAX. WHAT @ SUBCONTRACTOR

Sub contractor also exempted for the work which is under exemption for main contractor.
