Can anyone please guide me the procedure to be followed in service tax when there is a change of address service tax within the state.

19 January 2012 ST-1 has to be amended using online facility in www.aces.gov.in

19 January 2012 Log on in www.aces.gov.in
To amend ST-1, go to REG menu.
1. Under the REG menu, select Amend Registration submenu.
2. Form ST-1 will appear for amendment.
3. Amend the form ST-1 as desired and click the button Save & Continue.
4. The amended ST-1 will appear on the screen.
5. Check the details and takeout the printout of the same.
6. After taking out the printout, Click the submit button to save and submit the amendment.
7. On successful submission of amendment request, the response page will appear confirming the acknowledgement.
8. Take out the printout of acknowledgement.
9. Hard copy of the amended ST-1 together with proof of change should be submitted before the jurisdictional officer.

19 January 2012 Thank you so much for ur response, but if there is change in jurisdictional officer then to whom it has be submited does it need to change the service tax range in the certificate or it will automatically get change.

20 January 2012 Can anyone please reply to which Jurisdictional officer i need to submit this ST when address is change from Bandra to Thane
