21 June 2011 is it mandatory to re-register under Service Tax provisions in case of change of partnership into proprietory ?

21 June 2011 for any amendment ST1 to be change online within 30 days and get new ST2.

The changes shall be intimated to the department on line by amending ST1 within 30 days of such change
The fact that the ST 1 is being filed for an amendment, print copy and should be submitted to department
The assessee shall submit original Registration Certificate to department
The application may also be accompanied by a covering note explaining the circumstances that led to the change with copies of relevant documents being given.
