we are under 229 service actually my problem program me date 20/12/2013 but invoice was not raised im in sap modules can i issue the in voice in current date 03/1/2014 is there any problem to pay service tax pleeeez tell me sir

03 January 2014 You are offering Coaching services.There shall be NO problem even if you enter the invoice in this year.Just make sure that the invoice is of a date not more than 30 days from the date of completion of service or any payment for the service as per Rule 4A(1) of STR,1994.
If that is not the case and the 30 days period has expired then as per my opinion you should pay the service tax in this month itself that is by 6thjanuary even if you raise the bill in this month.
