in calculation of relief whether.
1.deductions of 80c could be apportioned/taken as lumpsum saving n currnt yr.
2.wage cut be apportioned.
3.Hra relief be made revised each yr.
Also which items in arrears to be apportiond.

In relief calculation 1. 80C deduction could not be lumpsum value or payable basic its always payment basic. if you are planning to invest then you will take as deduction in advance. No need to revised HRA relief of previous years.

1 Deductions under 80C can't be apportioned. Savings during the year has to be claimed only in the current year.
2 Wage cut relating to earlier years can be apportioned to respective year.
3 HRA relief may be revised each year.

Thank you. in 89 relief the arrear provident fund whether it could be apportioned so that 80C of the respective yr increase or could this arrear pf be taken in 80C of current yr. n lumpsum.

Arrear PF can't be apportioned, to be claimed in current year 80C.
