My Company's return for the F.Y. 2009-10 has been sent under Scrutiny Assessment. They have raised objections on the value of Creditors shown in the return.
As per my books, the value of Creditors is genuine comprising of:
(a) Parties - Payment to them to be made in future, and
(b) Parties under dispute
The Question is:
(i) How to make A.O. believe that the amount of Creditor is genuine?
(ii) What will be suitable reasons to tell A.O., if he asks the reason for non-payment to the creditors?
Please also provide the Judiciary Pronouncements, if any related to the above issue.

Get the ledger confirmations from respective creditors for FY 2009-10 on their letterheads and submit the same to ITO.
