Sale of Raisins - Business Income or agricultural income?

This query is : Resolved

10 December 2019 Farmer grows grapes and leaves them for sun-drying which gives raisins/kishmis. No other process is done. Only moisture of the grapes is lost, which can get lost naturally also.

So whether the process of sun-drying and loss of moisture can be called a process/manufacture? And does selling of raisins by farmer become business income chargeable to tax or agrictural income exempt from income tax?

If it is agricutural income, can you refer any case law in favour of assessee.

Thanks in advance.

04 June 2020 I think it will be an agricultural income.
