This query is : Resolved

21 August 2012 Hello,

A Chartered Accountant in practice has employed a person on salary paying Rs.15000 per month(Rs.180000 annually). Now, what are the compliances with regards deductions to be made... Provident Fund, Profession Tax etc.?

Also, what happens if the salary is Rs.25000 per month? TDS will be deducted in this case I know but what about Provident Fund, Profession Tax etc.?

21 August 2012 No Providend Fund Required Since Salary Exceed Above 6500 Per Month.
Prof Tax is to be Deduct as Per Your State Slab.in Both Cases.
