08 July 2012 I had worked in a firm for 6 months last year, and then resigned and took up job as a consultant for a firm. I would like to know how do I show my income from salary and consultancy while filing my returns. I have received form 16 A from the second firm. Will the income from consultancy come under "Income from other sources"

08 July 2012 Consultancy will be coming under Professional Income, so cannot show under Other sources Income.
