My turnover is 30 Lakh during the year. Am i suppose to mention SAC in the tax invoice. Whether it is 6 digit or 4 digit as per the law?

02 August 2017 Sir, it is NOT clear from your query what sort of service you are into?
As such the SAC code is not mandatory to be incorporated in invoice. But it is always good to give the same for a continuous chain of ITC

02 August 2017 I am providing say eg Chartered accountant service. My Turnover is more than 20 Lakhs. Am i suppose to mention SAC in the invoice. As i see the turnover limit of 1.5Cr is applicable for HSN to mention 2 digit HSN??

02 August 2017 Ok. If you are chartered accountant, try to set the trend. Let us not restrict ourselves to do the things only because they are required to be done by Act of Parliament. Mentioning full SAC code is always advisable. What do you say?
