11 September 2012 Can anyone tell me what are provisions available under rule 18 & 19 and under advance licence.
what is the difference between all the three.
which is more beneficial for a manufacturing company??
or converting the unit into EOU will be beneficial for the company..

11 September 2012 uncer central excise rule 2001. there are two rules 18 and 19.

Rule 18: dealing with export under rebate of excise duty.

Rule 19: dealing with exports under without payment of excise duty.

Advance license: dealing with .if you are manufacture exporter you can procure material without payment of excise duty and customs by using the this advance license.for this you have to show the export obligation.

advance license is the most benefits.

EOU: is differenct entity. its also more benefits. you can procure material without duties and taxes.
