18 August 2012 i have file the form 1A , IF I WANT THE current status work on it,how could i know, can i know through roc site?

22 July 2025 If you want to change or update details already submitted in Form 1A (which is typically the form for company name reservation), here’s what you need to know:

Can you edit an already filed Form 1A?
Once Form 1A is filed and submitted for name reservation, you cannot directly edit that form.

If you want to change details (like the proposed company name or other particulars), you generally need to:

Withdraw or cancel the existing name application (if it is still pending).

File a fresh Form 1A with the corrected or updated details.

Procedure to update details in name application:
Check the status of the existing name application on the MCA portal.

If the name is approved and you want to change details, you cannot change that reserved name. You must apply for a new name reservation using Form 1A.

If the application is still pending, you can file a request for withdrawal of name application (there is an option on MCA portal for this).

After withdrawal, file a new Form 1A with the corrected details.

Important:
No separate form exists specifically to “edit” or “update” Form 1A once submitted.

Always ensure the details are correct before submission to avoid such changes.
