Revising of belated return

Can we revise the belated return {i.e., u/s 139(4)} originally filed electronically.
If yes, then within what time the return can be revised and shall we have to send the copy of original ITR V also or only revised ITR V shall be required by the Banglore CPC department.
Please also mention the time period within which the ITR V (revised) shall be sent to Banglore.
Please note that there is Refund of Rs. 17000 in thhis case.
Please help as soon as possible.
