we have paid custom duty on 29th March pertaing to April month shipment , that is advance , so pls tell me, which group it will show in balance sheet , prepaid exp. or advance to other group .............

It is not prepaid. it is like advance payment of tax & duties only. so be considered as advance.same like service tax cenvat
